MacMonitor / Terms

Simple terms.
One license, one Mac.

What you get when you buy MacMonitor, and what we ask in return.

Effective October 1, 2026. These terms cover the purchase and use of the MacMonitor app for Mac ("MacMonitor") sold through macmonitor.app.

What you are buying

One license lets you use MacMonitor on one Mac at a time, for personal or business use. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription. You can deactivate the license in Settings → License and activate it on another Mac whenever you like.

Updates

Updates for the version you bought (1.x) are included at no extra charge. A future major version, such as 2.0, may be sold separately.

What you may not do

You decide what is removed

MacMonitor shows what it finds and asks you to review it before anything is moved to the Trash. Items you remove go to the Trash, where you can put them back until the Trash is emptied; anything already in the Trash can be erased permanently only when you choose that. You are responsible for the files you choose to remove, so please keep backups of anything you cannot replace.

No warranty

MacMonitor is provided "as is". We work hard to make it accurate and safe, but we cannot promise that it will be error-free or that every reading is exact on every Mac. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Payments and taxes

Payments, receipts, taxes and license delivery are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which is the seller of record for your order. Prices are shown in US dollars; taxes where they apply, and the final total, appear at checkout.

Refunds

See the refund policy.

Ending a license

We may revoke a license that was refunded, charged back, shared or used in breach of these terms. You can stop using MacMonitor at any time by deactivating it and moving it to the Trash.

Privacy

How MacMonitor and this website handle data is described in the privacy policy.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and purchases you have already made stay under the terms you bought under. Questions: [email protected].
